Compare the difference...Not all hydraulic tables are the same. Currently being imported from overseas are hydraulic tables not specifically designed for the pet grooming industry. Adding concern about their safety and stability. To cut costs, some tables are also manufactured using inferior materials which are not built to last and require additional ongoing maintenance.
The Groom-Ezy table manufactured in Australia by Groomers Friend is completely maintenance free. In fact Groomers Friend was the first manufacturer in the world to design and produce an Aluminium frame and Fibreglass top hydraulic table for the pet grooming industry. No need to oil and clean the pivot points to stop them from seizing and coming lose, as the Groom-Ezy table is manufactured using Delrin bushing and pivots using Zinc plated hinges, providing a self lubricating and maintenance free pivot point. This also illuminates wear and tear from two metal surfaces making contact with each other. The entire table is then assembled and tightened using 304 stainless steel fasteners
Plywood tops used by other table manufactures are also used to reduce costs. However with the latest technology Groomers Friend has designed a fully moulded fibreglass table top with removable EPDM rubber matting, which allows the groomer to clean and disinfect the complete grooming surface after each pet. Germs like parvo and distemper from a pet urinating can breed for years being undetected on a timber table top. This can never happen using fibreglass products. Groom-Ezy hydraulic tables are manufactured using rubber matting which is removable, easy to clean and does not need to be replaced after several years of use.
